what is 420 modified stainless???

Any of you guys ever here of 420 modified stainless? any good for a knife blade? im just asking because they say the m-9 bayonet is made from it. im still a high carbon man

Yes there are mods of 420, the 420HC version has carbon all the way up to .40-.50% .That's still medium carbon to me .

yeah high carbon to me is like 1075 and higher
