What is a BK 91 etc?

Uh, JDMiller: you've got a newb target stuck to your back ;). Look at the stickies at the top of the page; there's one titled "Becker Blade Database" that'll answer your questions - though I've no doubt there are kind and generous folk here that will answer your question anyway. I'm just not one of them ;).

Special editions of the 7, 9, and 10.
And yes, they are in the database.
Look under BK7, BK9, and BK10. :D

Edit* I thought they were in the database, but they're not...lol
There is info on the Camillus and Ka-Bar BK77's, but not the "desert" knives.

Hah..burn...
I'm not sure of exact details but they were a limited run "desert" edition...tan coating with micarta scales. The 77 is s30v steel. One day I'll cough up some Bucks for the 77...really want a user but their all NIB.

Saw nothing in the data base about them

Hey, I was just messin' with ya - that's why all the ;) wink & nod emoji. Jonny's got it right: they're not listed separately as they are all just variants of other BK&T models. The Great Blah-dee-té is a very thorough guy.....and since he owns all of them including some so exceedingly rare as to approach mythical status (i.e. the BK-8), he'd be mortified if it were even suggested he left any out (;), JK - you're probably safe.....). So, any of the "Desert" models aren't listed as 101, 91 0r 71 (though the are called out as variants - as well as the BK-9 "Hog Hunter") as they are all just basically painted desert tan, and came with sheaths to match, IIRC. Still Zytel (Grivory) scales and 0170-6C steel (Camillus models, all). The 77 and the 10-LE are separately called out (under their counterpart threads); the 77 because it used S30V in both the Camillus release and the Ka-Bar offering, and the 10-LE as they were Camillus blanks, ground and HT'd by KB and came with Micarta scales.

So now I've gone and done the thing I said I wasn't going to. Credit goes to Bladite for almost all the info; the "Desert" models I've just kinda found out about, though the are mentioned in the DB.

actually the bk71 bk91 bk101 are not in the database.

Not as such, they're called out as Camillus "variants", i.e. "Desert". I think Bladite told me that was because they were released the same way, as a Desert Edition BK-9 (7, 10) without those numbers that apparently came much later after they were out of production. That being said, does anyone know what number the BK-9 "Hog Hunter" ended up with?
