Just curious. I don't have one, myself, but browsing a catalog, I saw it and thought "Looks like the perfect do-everything camp knife." Like for batoning, drilling, chopping, digging (if you really must use a knife for digging). Is the tip strong? Maybe a kephart tip would work better?

But look at the steep bevel on that thing: probably not the best for mincing garlic.

Many pictures I find are military looking--lika a Toloza with an AR-15. Or a soldier holding a Toloza. However, I am not an expert on that stuff, so I don't really know how it would work in that context.

This is the place to divulge my dirty little secret:I daydream about a knife design that can do everything.

Don't anything about it either.

But the shape is reminiscent of the BK9, another do-it-all type of camp knife

The Toloza has a 6" blade with 1075 steel. Isn't 1075 a bit soft? So maybe this thing is supposed to be beat to hell like a garden tool?

That soldier is Cpl. Samuel Toloza, the man the knife is named after. In Iraq, his unit was ambushed and overrun after running out of ammunition. When several insurgents tried to grab one of his comrades, Toloza pulled out his folding knife and attacked then, injuring several. They backed off momentarily, at which point a relief force showed up and drove them off. Condor made the knife in his honor, and presented him one.

That said, it should work fine as a camp knife too, I've found several reviews with people using it for just that.

It's a good knife for when you want a cutting tool that can be batoned or pried with. The tip is plenty strong.

If you can find one, buy it. It's my EDC whenever we're going outside of our enclave. Super rugged. Great weight and length. Excellent grippy handle. Sharpens to straight razor sharp. 100% full tang. I'd buy a backup if they were still for sale and the Ms. hadn't threatened me about buying more knives.
