I'm looking for a single AAA battery light. I would prefer that it's 60 lumens or higher on high mode. I don't wanna pay more than $20 and the ability for it to tail stand wouldn't hurt. I was considering the Thrunite Ti 2, but a lot of people have had problems with them and I wanted to see if there was a better option. Thanks guys.

Olight i3S EOS 80 Lumen XP-G2 AAA LED Flashlight around $25 been using it for a few months now I like it

I love my Thrunite ti's... I have 4 and never had a problem. I use them for backups when camping because they are so small and light. They are perfect for that. I believe if you look around enough you can find a USA dealer which would be easier to return if you did have a problem.

I know you asked for a AAA recommendation, but if you're inclined to take advice from an old avowed flashoholic one of the smaller, very good quality low cost lights to come out in a while is L3 Illumination's, L10 AA light which is almost as small (79mm X 17.1mm) as some AAA lights with much better run times, choice of mode spacing, colors and even emitter choice!

For $20 you can get your choice of a 3 or 4 mode twisty with CREE's newest XP-G2 LED outputting 120lumens on high w/Ni-MH or alkalines ...

Or for another $5 ($25 total) you can get the L10 with the high CRI version, Nichia 219, (the flashoholic's grail emitter for tint snobs w/slightly less output than the XP-G2 version) which is an outstanding value...http://www.sbflashlights.com/L3-Illumination/L3-Illumination-L10-Colors-Nichia-219-p284.html.

I throw this advice out there FWIW since usually the only lights available utilizing the Nichia high CRI 219 emitter are customs costing several hundred dollars or those that have had existing lights modified. I own a couple of these in each emitter and they find they're way into my pocket a lot and I continue to be amazed that they can offer a light this good...this cheap!

The Foursevens Preon 1 or 2 are both great if you are willing to go a little over your budget. The streamlight stylus and protac are great too. The O lights are good from what I hear, but unlike the Foursevens I believe they are made over seas.

Maratac AAA is $27. Low 1.5 lumens, medium 40 lumens, high 138 lumens.

I already have a preon 2 I'm looking for something smaller.
