What is a harpee?

I was reciently listening to the book Hannible and the main charactor, Mr. Lector, went to a outdoor show and bought what he called a harpee. He merely pointed and said, "I would like that harpee, there..." Earlier in the book, he had stabbed someone with a Harpee which tells me that it's a knife. Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

There're two handle types: SS and G-10.

Although its not really a Harpy, The Merlin is the same except for the handle material and its not serrated (my preference.)
