I want to make a post and include a photo of a knife I made, when I finaly figured out the hirogliphic that means "post an image" and clicked on it then I was asked a question I could not answer. What the heck is a URL?

It's a Uniform Resource Locator, better known as a web address,if your trying to post an image, you need to grab the address for that picture by right clicking on it and then click on copy image location, that should give you the string you need to put n the box to display your picture. Here's one from a picture of mine,

,you should be able to quote my response here to see what it looks like.

Stands for uniform resource locator. It's basically a digital address of something, be it an image, song, etc. It's a link.

Since you aren't a paying member I'm going to assume that you are using a photo hosting site. All you should need to do is copy the IMG code for your photo at the site and paste it in your post. Otherwise you can copy the direct link and paste it in the popup window that comes up when you click the Insert Image icon.

For an in depth explanation check this tutorial.
