what is actual cutting length of sebenzas?

Hello all.
I'm having a hard time choosing between a large or small sebenza. I'm moving from a spyderco para-military which has a very small blade compared to the handle. I thought about getting the large because it seemed like the most equivalent to the para but when comparing blade lengths the small seems more like the para's equal. I've been doing a lot of research but cannot find the actual cutting length of the blades. They all give blade lengths but what does that include?

I took a string and layed it down the edge of my large classic sebbie. it was exactly 3 and 9/16th. which is just over three and half inches of cutting edge.
