What is an ETP handle?

I've seen several Bantam Buck knives that look almost the same, except that one says it has an ETP handle. The other ones don't say anything one way or the other about the handle, and they look the same. For example, I found the Bantam 284 Mossy Oak Country Camo, 2.75" blade, ETP. I found one very similar on Amazon, no ETP mentioned.

What is a Buck knife ETP handle?

Thanks.

It's the color of the handles I thinks... it's just a guess... I'm not sure...

It's the handle textured surface for a sure grip.

Very interesting!!

The image answering the OP question disappeared sometime since 2016 so I'm bumping this one back up. Anyone know what ETP is?

Engineered Thermo Plastic.
The PhotoBucket disaster killed about 1600 images I had on this forum, I'll find it and repost.
Buck uses it a lot. VALOX is a thermoplastic.
Thermoplactics can be resistant to melting when heated. That is why the spines of the old Valox BuckLites could be sanded
removing the top nibs we talk about so much on the newer nylon knives..
