Need a portable CD player that I can wear on a belt with earphones/plugs.

Don't need the radio etc.

Inexpensive is good.

What should I get?

Thanks.

Sony is the way to go. I've tried panasonic, rca and a few cheapies, but they all suck bateries so fast the savings of the player is overcome by the expense of keeping ir running.

Sony's probably your best bet. You can buy some really cheap personal-portable CD players nowadays, some in the $20 or so range, but if they were pocketknives they'd have 'PAKISTAN' stamped on 'em. Sonys come in a wide range of prices, functions, colors, and flavors, so you can probably find one that suits your tastes and wallet pretty easily.
I like Aiwa even better, but they don't seem to produce as many different models as Sony, and they're usually a little pricier.
