Ive seen alot of posts regarding "bussekin" or " kin to busse" and was wondering exactly what it is , im aware that swamprat and scrapyard are a part or branch of busse , so when people talk about bussekin is that what they are talking about and what are all the bussekin brands ?

Thanks alot

Busse and kin are those the that you mentioned. Scrapyard and Swamp Rat are two brands under the Busse parent company but each has their own offerings.

The other lines also have acronyms/imitialisms you'll see on the forums:

- Swamp Rat Knife Works = SRKW
- Scrap Yard Knife Company = SYKCO

And I still don't know what half the knife initialisms are. I may already own a SFNHFO LE or an IMNSHO and not even know it. I know I definitely own a CF SOB because I wrote it down.

So is one better than the other . From low end to high end how does busse qualify them .

Busse is the highest end, Swaprat is middle of the road, and Scrapyard brings you maximum bang for your buck.
So Busse is mostly INFI with super fancy to Res-C handles, Swamprat uses SR-77 and SR101, occsionally INFI with Micarta/G10/Res-C handles, and Scrapyard uses SR-77 and SR-101 and Res-C handles exclusively.
