I ask my faivorit supplier to sell me CF Mili in advance (more the month before) but it turn out that they sell it only to some Club members by list provided by Spyderco or something (probably I should preorder it from GrandPrairie instead). So I am out with this one and feel like I am back in USSR when some comrades more even then others.

However more great stuff coming and I just must have Military with CPM S120V and other great steels which Spyderco making for steel junkies.

How can I applay to be a member of Spyderco Collector Party - Secret Brotherhood of Hole or whatever it is, what should I do to be sure that I'll have this knive in the future?

Thanks, Vassili.

They are the collectors who owns their own serial numbers on the knives that Spyderco makes.

They get the knives that Spyderco makes in different variations.

IE: #15, #15 V ,the "V" is for variation of that knife.
You have to call Spyderco about joining the club.

Do a search here it will come up .

I just tried "Collector Club Spyderco" and have - Document contain no data.
I should call Spyderco then...

What price do they pay - MSRP or street price?

Thanks, Vassili

I too would be very interested in joining the Spyderco Collectors Club!!!

I am not part of the collector club, but to my understanding you have two options. The first being you buy every model and every variant. This means for things like the Salt you would get a black FRN SE + PE as well as a yellow FRN SE + PE. The other option is no variants, so you just get the "base" model, which is not your choice, it is what Spyderco decides, many cases the "base" model is SE. I believe you don't buy them at full MSRP, I think you pick your vendor, and they get the numbered pieces sent to them and you pay them whatever their price is on it. The name implies that it is for collecting, so you'd better have the money to buy each piece. Of course you can always sell them on eBay if you don't like a particular model. The collectors tend to get knives before everyone else, so when you know a model is about to hit the streets you can check on eBay and see a few collectors who are selling theirs because they didn't care for the particular model.

I just joined myself. Just call Spyderco for quickest service...I emailed the whole way through so it took longer. Everything is as Slvgx says. I would add that it is only for new models...not for past models. So from the day you join, any new models (or variant if you pick all variants) would be part of the Collector's Club. There are several Collector Club numbers open at the moment. You can choose either to get from SFO or from a dealer. Good luck to any who bite the bullet and join...it should be exciting
...I preordered the CF Military and didn't get one...nor my money back as of yet. So don't feel bad. I didn't get my paperwork in time...moral call Spyderco don't email :(
