The search function did not tell me what I was looking for so could you guys please explain how double cut Busse differs from regular? Thanks,

shane

It's a fine grit bead blast. The steel looks "frosted" and feels smooth to the touch, as opposed to a rough grainy look that used to be common with bead blasted blades.

I thought the double cut process meant that it was given a satin finish in the first cut,
then a bead blast for the second.

Here are some double cut CG ASH-1s...

That's also correct, there's no way to get a finish that smooth with crisp grind lines without first taking it to a satin finish, otherwise you'll end up rounding off corners and lines with the coarse blast to keep grind lines from showing up. The end result though is a slightly frosted and smooth bare steel finish :)
