I had some Four Roses single barrel.

I'm running perilously low on good bourbon.

My shopping list for next week:

Woodford Reserve
Knob Creek
Four Roses single barrel
Buffalo Trace

I usually keep all these in the cabinet, and the Four Roses is all I have left at the moment. :eek:
 
Just got done enjoying a few captain and cokes, among other things. Have to wake up in 4 hours for work; lame.

Nice selection everybody, even the Miller Lite :) They are all a means to an end right?

New England must be cold right about now my friend.... I live in Philly and it is going down to 36 ronight.

I frequently buy Buffalo Trace as well, I find it is really good to mix with. My favorite thing to mix it with is a little ginger beer on the rocks with a small bit of lemon.

I am also a big fan of Woodford and Knob Creek, but I never had Four Roses. I'm gonna add that one to my list for next time.
 
I like Buffalo Trace, and I like everyone of the Four Roses expressions... the (cheap) Yellow, the Small Batch, the Single Barrel, and some of their special editions are especially good - like the 100th Anniv 17yr Barrel-Strength Single-Barrel that came out this year.

I had to get up early for hunting, but I did try a new beer. I seldom drink, but I can't help but buy interesting beer when I'm shopping. Last trip to the big city, I picked up a six-pack of Ithaca (NY) Beer Company's Apricot Wheat. I think it is the worst beer I've ever tried. I wondered it it was just me, so I Googled it and found the reviews generally say it sucks, too.

Sadly, I had a big bottle of Unibroue's La Fin Du Mond in my hand --I'd been craving a bottle-- and put it back and grabbed the Ithaca brew instead. Big mistake....

Yeah the Apricot Wheat is not for everyone, my wife sure likes it though.

Ithica is a solid brewery though don't discount it for the one beer! If you like hops the Flower Power IPA is great.
