What is everyone's favorite, fanciest, most exspensive, and so on, knife in their personal collection?

Mint condition Reinhardt/Becker Kukri, sterile. Its a marvel that will never be sold, used and rarely handled. I've been after one for years, and finally got one.

That's tough. Most-used would honestly be the $12 Mora I bought a long time ago. I guess my thinking is that since it's so cheap, I may as well use it. If it breaks, hey, I'm only out $12.

Most of the other knives in my "collection" are ones I've made. I'm relatively new at making knives, and I tend to give away most of what I make because I'm not confident enough yet to believe that I need to take money for them. Someday, though, someday...

I recently ordered a knife from a guy in Texas named Scott Beck. He is what I would consider an old school bladesmith, hammer and anvil, differential temper, hand finishing kind of knife maker. I'm sure that as soon as that gets into my sweaty hands, it'll be my "most" knife, but I'll have to wait another several weeks before I get it.

Most collectible, as in they'd bring in the most $$$ if NIB:

Microtech LCC D/A Gen 2 with Ti bolsters, carbon fiber handle, Black TiNi plain edge blade.

Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5 Bowie

Camillus Cuda Dominator

Benchmade 730 Ares with M2 blade and Carbon fiber handles

Most expensive knife I bought. William Henry Limited production Gen Tac with Ironwood, titanium bolsters, Citrine thumb stud and button lock, and San Mai ZDP-189 @ 67 Rc.

Most prized: LCC D/A, Benchmade 730CFHS, Microtech Executive Scarab and an A. G. Russell Gent's Linerlock with Ti bolsters and quince burl handles.

A rough tie between a LH Sebenza and a LH Umnumzaan: the difference is seven and some change.

Most favorite is my ML Knives early style belt knife that Matt made for me, 3/16 thick 7 inch blade with tiger maple semi coffin handle. Has a hammered and patina finish. Using my low end stuff right now until I get more experience sharpening stuff before I take it out for its maiden voyage.

My favorite is my ML early American belt knife with a 3/16 thick 7 inch blade, has a hammered and patina look and a tiger maple semi coffin hanle. It is not a safe queen, but I am using my other knives to practice sharpening and such until I get more proficient at it and then she will be on her maiden voyage!

My TOP? The Buck minibuck my father bought me as my first knife, it started it all and was with me through boyscouts till my father bought me my first hunting knife (fixed blade). I own many knives but that one is special.

Spyderco Carbon Fiber S90V Paramilitary 2

I bought it at a brick and mortar store before I even knew how special it was. I had no clue what s90v was or why this knife was 230 bucks. It was a nice surprise to find out how valuable they are and how awesome the blade steel is. I've learned a lot in 4 months. :)

Favorite - BRKT Woodland Special

Fanciest/Most expensive - Mike Wilson Custom Damascus & Maple Burl fixed blade.

One of these, really hard to choose. I like the center one a tiny bit more.

My biggest money knife is easily my Busse Hell razor.

My top preforming knives are my Izula and my Junglas.

My most expensive knife is my CS Tanto XII which I got for $295.00 new, which is a great Canadian price. A close second is my Spyderco Warrior, which I bought for $275.00. Three Hundred smackers is about my limit. I'd rather have a lot of nice things than a small number of very expensive items, which I would be reluctant to use in any case.
