Fiberglass: Sheets of woven glass fabric are layered and bonded together with epoxy.

Its primary industrial use is for electrical applications like circuit boards.

Spyderco uses custom spec G10 for greater strength.

Carlos already said it but here is some more information (source: Kershaw website): G-10 is a woven fiber impregnated with high-pressure glass epoxy laminate. Its 55,000 psi tensile strength makes it virtually unbreakable, while its 65,000 psi compressive strength and 20,000 psi shear strength ensure that it stands up even in extreme conditions. G-10 also offers excellent thermal insulating qualities and performs well in high humidity conditions. The material's texture provides for a secure grip.
