Recently I saw a stainless steel Spyderco with a somewhat curved serrated (perhaps partially serrated) blade and if I'm not mistaken it was marked G2? If anyone knows anything about this knife, I would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

double-edged

Unless I am mistaken, some older Spyderco knives were made from a steel called G2 (aka. GIN-1 and Gingami 1). I have a Native (GIN-1), Police (G2) and Civilian (G2). It is a nice steel. Holds the edge well, and sharpens easily, and is pretty rust-resistant. Also has a nice "soft" feel to it, one of my favourites.
I believe there's a full description of this steel in the "Steel Chart" on the Spyderco website.
Hope this Helps! :) ( and hope I'm not terribly wrong! :D )

Word up, it's the Gin 1. Used at some older Spyderco models: SS Dragonfly, Pro Venator / Pro Grip, Native, aluminium Cricket, Copilot, MiniDyad (micarta handles), SS Police, Renegade and Black Hawk, Worker, Harpy (that I can remeber so far).
