What is "GTR"

A friend has a sheath which is marked"GTR" on back.Does anyone know what this means? Thanks...Mike

Well...I'm not quite sure what the letters stand for (maybe someone else out there can help with this?) but I do know that GTR is a "non-catalog" model Randall. It's on the paper insert to the standard Randall catalog, and as far as I know it's called the Randall GTR, with a 3 1/2 inch blade standard. Someone told me it stood for Gary (or Greg?) Randall, but don't hold me to it, my memory isn't what it used to be...anyone else??

GTR stands for Gary Thomas Randall, Randall Made Knives owner and designer of this knife. A non-catalog Model that looks a lot like a miniature Model 3 with a different grind.
