Just out of my Curiosity, What is Hogs' drinking habbit?

No joking about it, must be real!
 
I try to kill my liver several times a week. On occasion I go to my Tuesday/Thursday classes a bit tipsy......what.......what's that, today is Tuesday!!!
 
There needs to be an option between none and one a week. I'm one to never touch the stuff for months and then I have beer or two on a weekend. Like last weekend, we went to see a buddy's band downtown and I had 3, kept it low since I was driving and stopped three hours before we hit the road. Then I had an ice cold CBL the other day, so in the last week I have had 4 beers, but the week ain't over yet. :D
 
I have several drinks about 2 days a week (the weekend)....not an option in the poll.

Put yourself on the list for whatever you want. I'll make up for any delinquency you may have with consumption and even it out. Just for you Bro!:rolleyes: :D ;)

Drunk in class? That reminds me of a time when I was in JC. I had just moved out on my own (it was close to on my own, I was renting a house my dad owned on his rural property) and I was doing a bit of drinking here and there. Well for some reason one day I packed a moose cup full of SoCo and Dr. Pepper and off I went to my ethics class. My teacher was a young guy, alumni from my high school and he had taught me history my first year at JC. I know he knew I was a bit drunk, but I am really surprised he never said a thing to me about it.

It also brings to mind my time at Western IL University. We had to take a writing exam for exiting the school as I suppose is the case in many schools. Before the actual writing portion there was a math portion that had absolutely no bearing on anything (they changed that after I left). You took the math part, got a break and then the real writing exam starts. I got good and crocked the night before on Johnny Walker Black and Bushmills. Went to sleep 4 hours or something like that before the exam, woke up in worse shape than I went to bed. Hurried to the hall for the exam, sat down and proceeded to fight the urge to puke on the guy in front of me. I had a big mug of ice water I would sip when I felt the urge and some deep breathing kept it at bay. But I did the old "C" down the column and made my way to the head and sat in a stall until the writing part (half an hour maybe). They called for everyone to come back, I made it in just in time. They guy running the show writes a sentence on a black board and we get 2 hours to write about that sentence in some sort of meaningful context. Weeks after this I get my result and the guys on the floor are comparing their grades. I got a 98 out of 100 drunk as a skunk and some guys got grades in the 60's after getting a good nights sleep. :D:D:D

I always thought it funny that chewing tobacco was tolerated at WIU, but I figured it was due to the rural setting and the high proportion of Ag program students. It was kind of nice to be able to sit in my psych class with a dip of Red Man Golden Blend, spit cup/bottle in hand. :D
 
I'm about like Progunner, may not drink any for a while or I might drink a few
tonight. So I need that in between option also.

What about you Wu buddy? Since you started this I think you have to tell.

Or, are you just doing a test to see if you drink to much,or not enough:D
 
There really wasn't any "right" choice for me, but the best was 3-4 days. I only get sheets to the wind on one of my days off, the rest of the time I might have a pint or 2 (recently developed a taste for Belgian ale) at my buddies house on my way home from work while shootin the shit and a game of 8 ball. Or when it's really cold at night on the docks I'll have some coffee/whiskey in my thermos. I can't say I get tatered all that often though. I always have to wake up too early for class, work, or some other obligation.
 
I'm in that inbetween zone like porkgunner & ken... sometime I do... sometimes I don't. :D

I usually only drink one day per year... The rest of the time, I'm drinkin' at night! :eek: LOL
 
I was at a fifth of whiskey a night for about a year straight... Saw the error in my ways and I now have almost a year sober! Longest I've been sober since I was 13! I can still act like I'm drunk though, so as not to make any of you fellas uncomfortable ;)

I miss it sometimes, but I value what I've gotten through my sobriety much more than that sweet, smokey flavor...

I'm gonna go have a root beer now!

Congrats, I can relate. My last drink of allkyhall was Sept. 3, 1983, I used to be drunk and crazy, but I don't drink anymore. ;)

i was in san diego a couple years ago loading out military cargo for the company i work for. we also handle the newsprint that comes in there. don't know if i may have run into you or not, i'll give you a shout if i end up down there for work again.

i tend to drink much less than in my mispent youth, which didn't really end until a little after 40. anymore, it's 2 or 3 bourbons a couple nights a week, if that. since i'm not in drinking shape i can't seem to avoid hangovers anymore, so 2-3 is generally my limit. i might go on a minor bender once or twice a year, but the morning after ruins it for me now. these days i tend to remain a litte more herbal, no slurring, tripping, blackouts or hangovers to contend with.
