I am in the process of picking up a new wallet (probably a Filson) and am looking at what I have in this one to see what will stay and what will go. This made me wonder. There are a number of "what's in your pockets" threads here but no real "what's in your wallet" threads. Thought it would be interesting to post everything here. Anyone else want to?

Loose cash
Credit Card
ATM Card
Pistol Permits (Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine)
Connecticut Driving License
Connecticut Boating License
PADI Scuba Certification Card
Sea Tow Membership Card
Local library card
State library card
family photos
Spyderco Spydercard (yes, it fits and makes my wallet heavy)
Health insurance card
AAA membership card
Blockbuster video card
various receipts

I think that is about it. I've never been able to carry just cash on me and a license. Anyone else jam pack their wallets?

Money just goes loose in my pocket.

I carry a Victorinox front pocket wallet with 4 card slots and an inside pocket for bills.

Drivers license and insurance card.
Visa debit card.
Starbucks card.
Laminated piece of paper with emergency numbers on it.
Cash

Visa Bank Card
Drivers License
Insurance Card
Health Insurance Card
Blockbuster Card
Blockbuster Gift Card
Albertson's Prefered Card
Couple of business cards
Student ID(not there right now, I've misplaced it somewhere)
Gun Range Membership Card
Buckle Clothiers Discount Card
A couple of pieces of paper with notes on them
Cash on occasion
Initial D arcade card(what can I say, I'm a college student!)

I'm thinking about switching wallets to a smaller credit card type wallet. Trouble is, my current wallet is handmade leather, and I'd really like to go with another handmade in the U.S.A leather credit card wallet...and not something else. Going back to the leather shop I bought it at, isn't an option that's an 8-9 hour drive away!

-- Not enough cash (I hang around these forums too often for my own good)
-- two large paper clips attached to change pocket zipper pull
-- one large safety pin attached to interior zipper pull (removed for air travel and placed on keyring for easy inspection)
-- one medium safety pin behind Drivers License in ID window (removed for air travel and placed on keyring for easy inspection)
-- credit card Fresnel Lens
-- tiny bit of tinder in wrapped in small piece of plastic wrap
-- Sears Craftsman 4-way Pocket Screwdriver in change pocket
-- One pack of PocketDuct with wrapper removed

Got a largish Eagle Creek zip up wallet a while back:
Some cash,
Enough change for a coke, and a spare house key in the zipper coin pouch
C. cards
Licenses (driving, ccw, hunting)
Matches
sewing kit (various threads wrapped around part of an index card, 2 needles woven in)
Swisscard lite (cracked:( )
Couple of bandaids
External slash pocket has 6-8 feet of 100mph tape and a Benchmade 10 (3"bali) tucked into it.

Thing's a brick, but it doesn't bother me sitting/driving, just far enough off to one side with most of my pants.

Lets see.... I got:

$5 Canadian
$2 American
A cheque I have to deposit
Bank card
Drivers licence
Firearms licence
Two library cards
And an old reciept.

I usually don't carry a wallet, just a card holder with a few folded bills, subway tickets, ID and some cards with notes, I don't carry credit cards or drivers license (I try to avoid driving in Mexico city), I do carry a large coin purse, I use change a lot in public transportation.

Other than the usual stuff, I always keep an expired or "advertising" type credit card (you know--the kind that you get in the mail w/ the number 1234 567 8910 on it) to get me into places that I don't have keys for--usually my own house when I've forgotten my keys!

(Anyone who's ever done this knows that difficult locks will chew the hell out of your card!)
