Found this on top of a skid at work is has an inflation valve on it that's all I know anyone ?

This is a wild shot in the dark but is it maybe a tire pressure sensor for inside the tire to tell you when one goes low?

that is a TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor) AdamFuzzyballs is absolutely correct. I know this because I work at a dealership in the parts department. good call.
