  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Been looking for a forum for "what is it"? but haven't found it yet. Sorry to drop this here if totally inappropriate but it does have a cutting edge. I've had this little doodad laying around for about 50 yrs and never figured out what it is, anyone want to venture a guess?
Thanks

Doesn't really seem big enough to be a workable splitting wedge. Its possible that its a small bucking wedge though, used in conjunction with a cross cut saw when cutting trees to length on the ground.

Arathol, I like that idea, I kind of ruled out splitting wedge myself do to it's size but a bucking wedge seems reasonable.

Bucking wedges I've seen are have squared off corners. They don't have that curved edge.
