As far as I know "kilap hands" is a training drill from the IMA.
Could anyone of you explain me what exactly it is?

Kilap means lightning in Bahasa Indonesian (to the best of my memory) it is a similiar to the term of Kilat in the Filipino Martial Arts. There are a lot of similarities between the languages of the Philippines and Indonesia/Malaysia as at one time they were all part of the same empire (Majahapit)

Hope this helps
 :D

Kilap is not the same as hubud.. Hubud is a sensitivity drill while Kilap/Kilat is a rapid fire exchange of hand strikes aka kadena de mano or chain hands.. In kilat/kilap, the hand strikes or attacks are geared toward the soft tissue parts of the body and this makes the body recoil there by giving other targets of opportunity...
