What is Mid-Tech?

Can anyone tell me a little about Mid-Tech? My impression is that it exists to sell semi-custom knives for certain makers, but I'm not sure I've got even that much right. Can anyone enlighten me about who is behind Mid-Tech and what they do?

You're right, but terminology is sometimes a bit misleading - is it high-end production? Semi-custom?

IMO they're semi-handmade knives, made by workers with the help of various machines (CNC etc).
