I recently got a regular small seb from a guy who was selling his knives collection and wanted to know if it was ok to check with you guys about its worth. If not, don't hesitate to tell me so.

The knife was assembled on the 2nd quarter of 2005 and is S30V. Blade is in excellent shape and doesn't seem to have been sharpened. Scales show some marks. No box at all, the knife came as is.

Any chance for photos. Yeah, they apparently sell for a lot more on eBay than they do on the BF exchange.

Items like this can be hard to price. People can ask extreme prices , and sometimes get it. A lot depends on how much time and effort you want to put into getting a price(and how much greed). The 2 above examples are not really comparable. One being a very sought after pheasant tail and the other a BG-42 blade, also sought after.
I will hazzard a guess of around $700 if there are no problems other than scale wear.
It would make someone a great user

Thanks for all the infos guys. You never know but I don't plan to sell it as I was very impressed with the state of the knife after 17 years but I wanted to put a value on it.

Na. The clip end looks to close to the thumb stud. Looks like a small to me.

Good point! The Small Classic MM I picked up last year just seemed smaller to me when I got it than I expected it to be...photos and reality, eh?
