and I'm talking about something with G10 scales both sides, and not a lockback meaning most likely a linerlock. Is it one of the Sage variations?

I'm not an expert on all of the Spyderco models. I can get by with a 3" blade for EDC although I can carry something significantly larger without any problems.

Sage 1 has carbon fiber. I'm thinking something like the salsa too but that might be smaller.

Sage 1 has a 3" blade, carbon fiber handles, linerlock.
Sage 2 has a 3" blade, titanium handles and framelock.
The Zulu has a 3" blade, G10 handles linerlock.
The Perrin PPT has a 3.1" blade, G10 handles and a sub-framelock.

It's been suggested to Sal more than a few times! His response has been, basically, that he's got people other than himself and Eric who he wants to honor with the Sage program. Personally, I'm with the crowd here. I'd really like to see a Sage with a compression lock sooner rather than later. :thumbup:
