Any good knife/gear deals out there today? Looked around, but it seems to me that Bradford Knives is the only company that stepped up in a HUGE way as far as discounts and great deals.

I have seen a few great deals with Thanksgiving and probably more specials on online dealers.

what deals have you seen ? List type of folder and price.

This thread will be walking the line of deal spotting. Good luck?

Don't post any links and it is well within any "deal spotting" rules.

Okay then please close this as I don't want anyone to mistakenly post links. Didn't know listing model and price alone was considered "deal spotting".

Im pretty sure telling people how much and where to get it, if not a supporting dealer is deal spotting. Maybe a mod can chime in.

The Op doesn't ask for dealers or links but I believe given the subject it will happen and even if no links or dealers are mentioned driving sales towards non-suppprting dealers seems inevitable.

Where does it say anything close to that in the deal spotting rule? I would love a mod to chime in and clarify the "rule" that doesn't exist.

the ZT0909 for $99 at KC sold out too quickly. The military exclusives at KW are still on, 170 for CT’s-204p and 229 for s90v/cf-ti are limited to 1200 each, and can explode on aftermarket

Current rule wording:
https://www.bladeforums.com/help/site-rules/
No Deal Spotting
8) BladeForums.com stays open due to paid subscriptions from various member groups, including Dealers who help sponsor this site. A dealer who does not have a paid subscription is not allowed to advertise in any way, shape, or form. In the past, dealers have used 'shill' accounts to promote themselves & their products; as a result we've limited all dealer advertising to The Exchange or registered Dealers with active paid subscriptions.
Original wording from before the software change.
Auction / Deal / Bargain Spotting
This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care. If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising.

IMO, the old wording was clearer, if a little more roughly worded, but the intent is still clear in the new wording. Advertising deals is limited to deals at sites with dealer memberships. The mods won't ding you for deal spotting for a dealer member, but even that isn't quite the intent. Talking about deals should be limited to the exchanges.
