Just curious what the best selling, most produced knife Kershaw has made to date? Are there numbers or stats available?

I would have to think the Leek would win this one, but there are a lot of Blurs too.

I would have to say Either the Leek or Blur..especially since both can be had at many stores

1550 Blackout was the best seller of all time for a long time.

This is the correct answer, unless you were to lump all 1660 variants together, then it would most likely be the leek. But as far as a single number, 1550 has it.

I think the blackout would be 3rd if you counted all the Leek and Blur variants together.

Is the blackout even that good?

It certainly isn't that bad! It is not my favorite style with the rounded thicker handle, but I have seen alot of people carry them.

Is it still in production along with the whirlwind? I know the blizzard is disco'd

My guess it wins because of Walmart alone. I know I got one there a long time ago.

But I'm sure the leek, as a model, not individual product number, wins it

I'm gonna have to chime in with the rest about the Leek and Blur. I'm pretty surprised about the Blackout though, didn't know it was that popular.

Yeah - somewhere between the Leek and Blur would be my guess... unless...

If you use percentage sold years before the production of the first example to make it to the marketplace, it would have to be (Drum roll, please!)...

THE ZT-0777!

Okay, I'll retreat back into my hole...

Now that I think about it, the Blackout was the first Kershaw that I purchased. That was years ago and that knife still sits in my collection.

Wow the Blackout? That's not appealing to me what so ever. The Leek and Blur are Kershaw IMO. I prefer the Blur due to it's size but the Leek is pretty darn sexy.

How funny, I met a cool soldier (two deployments in Iraq) at the Post Office, saw a knife clip and asked him what knife he had. It was a SOG Trident, I showed him my CF154 Blur and he said, "Oh nice, Kershaw. I had one, I think it was a Blackout.."
