i kind of want my seal pup elite to be concealed because i dont want to scare the sheeple at the camp ground and on the beach when im fishin i was thinking of make a strap thing made out of para cord so they cant see my HUGE knife lol any ideas are welcom i would love to see how you guys carry your fixed blades

I like a horizontal carry on my belt.
I wear my shirts out so that makes it basically invisible.
Note--from what I read here that may break some of your US laws.

Wearing a baggy shirt, I think an inside-waistband carry would work well for a smaller bowie like the Seal Pup Elite (though the sheath style it comes with is wrong for this). But like Greg says, I'm pretty sure it's less than legal to walk around with a concealed 10" fixed blade where you're at.

I don't usually carry any of my big knives. My EDC are a folder in a bag and a tiny push dagger on my keychain.

I think that rigging up merc harness out of 550 cord will be your best bet. I have a seal pup and thats how I carried mine. Carrying it legally is a different story. My feelings are if it is truely concealed and you don't have the look of a trouble maker then who will even know its there. Just be careful when you take it out. I don't normally pay attention to laws that don't impact other people. Like carrying knives, guns and stuff like that. It is a personal decsion and not for everybody. Good Luck

First, we really do need to avoid the use of the term "sheeple", it is derogatory and insulting. Why not simply call them people? Second you need to know if carrying a fixed blade is legal where you live, you can look here for the basics and if you still have questions you can check further with your lawyer.

I think the best solution is a belt sheath. The biggest problem is most belt sheaths are of the drop variety, they drop the knife too far below the belt for easy concealment. Having a high ride sheath made would make concealment under a shirt much easier just as a high ride pistol holster makes it easy to conceal a handgun the same length as your knife. Of course another solution would be to carry a knife that wouldn't cause raised eyebrows. While fishing or in a fishing camp no one is going to thing twice about someone carrying a fillet knife and it would easily perform the needed duties you run into while fishing.

I work a good bit with LEO's and most view things like knives with an eye towards environment. They do understand campers and fishermen often carry a fixed blade and largely ignore it. But when it is overly military in appearance or when extreme attempts are made to conceal it then it tends to raise an alarm.

Wear it in the open. People will freak out more if they notice you've got a "hidden weapon" than if they just saw the knife. You can always get a less tactical, yet equally/more functional knife that won't freak the sheep.

I have been into FB carry for a while. I understand people freak out when they see a knife. I do a high ride kydex or horizontal belt. Sometimes I carry IWB and under-the-shoulder. All are pretty concealable and each works well depending on clothing and weather.
