What is the Camillus Arclite handle material

I have mine sitting in front of me right now. The knife is 420HC...all of it. Blade = 3" and handle = 3 3/4" for an OAL of 6 3/4".

That's pretty funny -- as you can see from the pic, the knife is all one piece (of 420HC). Overall length is 173mm. I like mine....

Standa,
Sorry for the confusion from the www.1sks.com site. The current production ARCLITE is one piece of 420HC. Handle and blade. The blade lenght is 3.25".

Thanks for the interest, and I hope this helps!

Thank you all, guys.
Richard, thanks you for correcting the OAL lenght. 7.875" AOL necker would have been too long, IMO.
I believe the AOL is 6 3/4" = 173 mm (thanks Cougar) and the blade 3 1/4", that is handle 3 1/2".
Will, thanks. I thought there had been a mess in the Arclite info at that site.
I´m gonna have to second the 154CM. Aren´t you gonna use this steel for Arclite?
I asked for Arclite´s price and shipping-to-Czechia details at Top of Texas Knives on Friday and am still waiting for their response.

numbersman, you pulled a 12 year old thread from the well of information. I don't believe the knife was made for that long to have been made with more than one type of steel. My Arclite is in the center of this picture.

Aha, so it was made in D2!! Of course mine isn't the Russell version.....Sorry about the date, I did a search and didn't even look at the date.

The Arclite is coming back. If I'm not mistaken it's a Darrel Ralph design. Back when I was HTM/DDR moderator, it was one of the things he and I discussed. I forget who will market it though. Could be HTM or Meyerco. If memory serves me right, it'll be D2 this time around.
