What is the deal with the commercial/slock master scalper?

Hey so I'm looking at the commercial scalper and slock master scalper on CS' website, and it gives different stats for the 2 knives (length, weight).

None of the retailers give different stats. They say the knives are the same.

Are they the exact same knife? Does one have a longer tang? Are these knives actually 3.5mm thick? How far back into the handle does the tang go?

I've long thought about these as an outdoors knife that's a new take on the longhunter model/idea from back in the day (both the mid-2000s when CS made the longhunter and the 1700s when European companies used them as trading goods). They seem cool, but then again I have no idea if they are really suited to woods-related tasks outside of game prep.

Welcome to the GSM administration of Cold Steel, where details just don't matter. I think they are the same knife, just one has that dude's name on it and is colored red. I believe it is a 3/4 tang and plenty tough unless you go out of your way to break it.
