What is the deal with the new Busse line?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the changes are going to be in the new line of Busses. Is the handle configuration/material going to be changed? Is it going be a fully enclosed tang? Will there be any 3/16 thick blades in the new line? I am starting to get interested in Busses, so I want to know whether there is going to be a radical design change soon so I can determine when to buy.

Sesoku,

Those who know are likely not going to say at this point. Suffice it to say there will be some changes but they will definitely be undeniably Busse...

FYI, if you don't already know, the last day for ordering the current ergo models is 15APR03.

Hopefully Jerry is going to take this opportunity to fix the E-Series....who wants a knife with a bent handle? Sure would be nice if he paid to get that handle machine fixed ;) :D

I agree with you 100% DN. In fact, if you have any of those knives with the bent handles I will happily buy them from you (as damaged goods of course) and see what I can do to straighten them out.

It will be tough, sure, because INFI is a tough steel, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Say $4/pound? Sounds fair to me. Go ahead and get them boxed up.

LOL, I've already sold off all of my e-series over the last year or so...only one left now. All my other Busse's are the undamaged kind ;)

Wait until you see the new Line UP....

Did I say...
I think some dropped to their knees and started crying when they 1st saw it at Indy....

Blew me away...!

I didn't see the knee dropper but I did have to hold onto that pole for support:eek:    Can't decide if I should buy another suppresor or save it for the new line.......Duh
INFI RULES :D

Oh well. If the new line is so jaw-droppingly stupendous, I can probably justify thinking of my BM-E as an investment and buying part of the new line. :)

At least to myself. Others look at me and think, "You've put HOW MUCH into those knives? You're CRAZY!"

*Sigh* Alas, the unenlightened.

Zal, you've already stepped off a cliff of sorts when you got involved with this Busse thing. If you're going to hang with it you're going to have to grow some thicker skin and start ignoring the unwashed and poorly educated masses and their unenlightened (yes you used the correct word) opinions about your choice of cutlery.:p Besides, your "investment theory is a pretty good one in that Busses tend to outpace most other investments over time...
