The single dash is the date code 1992. The two dash is also 1992 but it signifies a change in the production process. I can’t remember what the change was but there was a thread about it in the last couple years that was explained.

Sorry to hijack, but I just unpacked my old 105, which I bought used sometime in the late 90s, and it's got one dash to the right of the "105". Does that mean it's 425M? Only asking out of idle curiosity.
What kind of dash. There is a page on our website to tell you how old your knife is

The single dash 110 may be more rare than the double,,

Dont recall ever seeing a single dash.. 110

Oh me.... was digging through the accumulation looking for something else and opened up a minty 112 with a single dash. And it has a Texas outline on a bolster along with a bull and oil well..
verrry sharp..

Im wondering if 1992 and 425 to 420 is just one of the changes in 1992..
Digging through the herd found a 110 double dash, Aqua Fibron, [n Nickle Silver..
Pretty sure its the oldest NS I have..
Just curious what else might have gone on in 1992??
