So before the rain we had a fire to do smoors for the kiddos, an my neighbors boy wanted to process some oak to get the fire going with "Daryl's knife". I hate that they call it that. Inevitably it's cost, time it took to be shipped, which was pretty fast in my opinion going by what I heard and that this knife is nothing but a safe queen. He even said this as his boy was pounding it through oak. So as kids went to bed we drank beer and I beat it into an oak tree. Did this about four times and almost got it stuck good. The finish was only dirty, I lost none of it. What is that stuff made of and can a guy get it appilyed to guns?

Unicorn skin, it is also my understanding a drop of Jerrys blood is applied to every cauldron as its being mixed

Chuck Norris tears would be used, but he never sheds any...

kidding aside, it is tough stuff.

Dang right it's tough. This is where the TGLB spent the night. This was taken just before I beat it out of there

And this is just after I got it out and washed it up.

Sure some dents and scratches, but its all there still.

I think there is a market there just for the coating. I'd love to have it some other blades and even a gun or two.

Hell, I could think of some tools I would like it on for work. I'm thinking of asking Busse if they could, or would coat my hammer so I can take it into the plants with me and see how it holds up there.

If I could some get Chuck Norris beard hair and mix it into the finish, then pour it into sheets I would have the next greatest bullet proof material. Only problem is that when you remove hair from Chuck Norris's head or face the hairs turn into little fists and run around punching everyone in the face.

they already use this, what do you think is the stuff in the "crinkle coat" finishes? It sure aint crinkles! Jerrys blood is the only thing holding those buggers on there!
