What is the going rate for the USGI Modular Sleep System?

I have been looking at YouTube videos of this thing all day and I like the look of it, I like that it is a modular system meant for all environments. Some of these YouTubers claim they are finding it used for under 100$ Up here in Canada it is not a common piece to find, although I am going to a military show next month and I will be on the lookout for one. Who has one? How much did you pay for it? Would you recommend it? I am not going to ask where you got it form just yet, I dont really enjoy shipping anything over 20$ over the border anyway. I am going to the Patherfinder Gathering in Ohio this June, I have been looking for surplus store on my route.

I have had mine since 2003 so I don't know the going rate.

However, this vendor gets good marks from folks on another forum I frequent as being a good source for the USGI MSS:

Biggest complaint on the MSS is the weight.

Amen Brother! Every time I get one issued it stays in the closet until I have to turn it back in. Poncho liner unless extream cold weather and then I dig out my old mountain bag.

Yes very heavy
I pack the bivy fromt he system and a poncho liner. It is a very warm bag and can be used for all enviorments. But it is very heavy and bulky.
