What is the knife displayed on the blade forums logo?

I'm curiously wondering what the blade on the upper left of all our computer screens right now is modeled after. To me it looks like a benchmade from that upper swage on the top and the black possibly g-10 handles.

I know it's kinda stupid but has anyone wondered what that was?

This topic comes up every now and then.
Basically, it's a knife that was never produced, just a concept knife.
OR maybe only a couple were ever made... but my fading memory tells me I Don't Think So.

I believe the button is actually there because it was supposed to be an auto, not an axis lock.
