I think you'll find that a lot of the FRN lockbacks will all suit your purpose well. The clip can be swapped to either side, and the lock and the hole aren't biased to righties or lefties. The old style FRN handles had molded in clips, (Still have my old chesapeake knife&tool delica, it was made that way...) but the modern ones can be changed over with little more in teh way of tools than a pair of pennies or nickels. This will cover the range of most of hte really popular and lasting models, like the delica and the endura. The Native is also really cool, and has had a lot of success... Visit a knife shop, you'll see what I mean.
The SS versions, unfortunately, aren't made as ambidextrously. Clip is made to stay on one side, that that's pretty much it. You can swap it end for end, but it'd still be on the same side. That aisde, if you can handle manipulating the knife in hand, lockbacks are lockbacks, and the hole is still great for opening. Just find one that's comfortable.
The compression lock also may or may not be more or less comfy for lefties or righties. I dunno... I'm not much of a compression lock fan.
The new ball lock thing they've used on the dodo and WTC knife looks to be perfectly ambidextrous, too. And as long as the clip is reversible, you shoudl be fine.
