Back in the day I sold a Spyderco Manix 2 blue G10 for what I paid for it. Now its doubled in cost and I'm not willing to drop that kind of coinage to get another one. Oy! I also sold a Becker fixed blade that had the UpArmored Duracoat treatment on the knife and sheath. It was cool. Wouldn't mind having that one back.
My biggest regret was my Balibalistic Tac-U. It was 4" blade balisongs with a wicked brend like grind. Titanium handles with Carbon fiber inserts. Had a bushing system and no latch. I had to sell it because my girlfriend stiffed me on rent. And that happened because she couldnt keep her hand out of the cookie (pill) jar. I cried when I gave the thing to the postman. And it still brings a tear when I think about it. Every once in awhile I beg the new owner to sell it back. But that request is always denied. I cant blame him. It is my grail knife. And you never. Ever sell your grail.
My first Emerson, A 100SF I got caught up in the posts that folks were saying Emerson's were no good.
Shouldn't have been swayed so easily ,lesson learned.
I already bought back the knives I regretted selling but I do regret not pulling the trigger sooner on a few out there that I'm too cheap to pay secondary market prices for now.
BM Bone Collector fixed blade with gut hook in D2.
SOG Lg Vulcan
I've also gifted plenty of knives that i would have liked to have kept but that's a different situation.
