What is the pocket clip on a Sebenza made of?

I tried to anodize one and it can't be Ti beacause it did'nt take any color. What is it made of? And why isn't it Ti?:confused:
 
The Ti clip is not coated. It is beadblasted. Is it possible that you just missed a step in the anodizing process?

I wanted to say "a kind surface problem" (the clip must be well polished before trying to anodize it)
 
I put a magnet to it and nothing. So I thought it was Ti. I then sanded, polished and jeweled the clip. Stuck it in the electrolyte solution, put 48 volts to it and all it did was fizz? No color at all.:confused:
 
Why don't use email the CRK folks? I'm sure they could address your question/dilemma. I'm still 99% sure that the clip is Ti, but who knows.
