What is the Rockwell hardness of 1095/15n20 Damascus steel?

The hardness (and therefore the performance) depends almost entirely on whomever heat-treats it (per individual recipe). Not really a function of the steel type itself. If you have a particular maker in mind, it'd be best to ask them to what RC they treat it. Any particular steel can be very good, or very bad, depending upon how the heat-treat was done.
