If this baby is still a go, when will I be able to start bugging my dealer for one?

Hi Misque,

The SOG Field Knife is pretty much a done deal. I know that we have some being manufactured right now, but I think this lot is designated for promotional purposes (such as shipping to our sales reps and major dealers for photo samples). My guess is that it won't be ready for the general public for a couple more months...or even the first of the year.

Here's the picture! :)

Hey Ron, does the knife have a chissle grind on the edge or a reguler edge? I don't care for the chissle grind much.

Can you send me one for testing? I promise that I'll give it a good review. :D

PS that knife and sheath look good together.

Excellent! Thanks for the update Ron!
I am very much looking forward to getting one of these. It still looks like it will be an exceptionally good user.:D

Hi Heber,

It will have (to the best of my knowledge), a regular double-sided cutting bevel.

I'm looking forward to this knife, too. It looks like a real practical user knife!

Promising a nice review? What, no pipe beating? ;)

Don't let Cliff Stamp get one, I hear he wants to use a Particle Accelerator for his next test. Something about the Quantum Flux generated by the Vanadium particles in a Carbon matrix (or something like that:rolleyes: )

I'd heard he got permission from the Pakistani government to mount the Field Knife at chest level 100 yards from ground zero of their next nuke test.
Something about testing the vaporizition potential of BG-42 or something like that.:p

Ron, If you send me one, I promise not to beat it with a pipe. I'll be good to it. Like I said before, I'll give it a REALLY GOOD review.
