I looked at their website and determined I could do my taxes with $14.95 basic plan. Any of you guys ever used their service and if so, what do think about?

(I posted here because I figured that Tubo tax was a gadget:D )

We used Turbo tax up until about 3 years ago, it worked and seemed fine.

We had some deduction issues we couldn't unravel without professional help, we just stuck with a private tax service after that. It came out about even in the time vs money comparison.

One thing that made me nervous was the beginning of the stand alone / web integration. Do I want my tax info kept/transmitted online? Nah.

I've been using turbotax since '98 with no complaints. I don't import tax information from employers or investment companies online nor do I use the turbotax online option. I buy the product, install it, let it help me figure my taxes, check, recheck and print my return for snail mail submission.

I have used Turbotax for many years and I have not had any problems with it.

It is easy, accurate, and I file E-File and get my refund in 2 weeks.

Same except I have used it the last 3 tax seasons , it is easy even for a number dummy like myself.

I've used the stand alone product for 5 years or so, and e-filed the past 3.

Refunds in a couple weeks.

Piece of cake.

Hope all is well brother.

I made out better using Turbo Tax for the past few years than I did getting my taxes professionally done. I was able to find a lot of deductions for home improvements and job and school expenses than the local tax place could. I highly recommend it. Plus I like having my money deposited into my bank account within a week.

I've been using TurboTax for 5+ years. It's absolutely wonderful. I received my W2 last Friday 2/1 around lunchtime. I did my taxes that afternoon (yes, on company time) and electronically filed. My State return was deposited in my checking account yesterday. Federal should follow in another couple of days.

This is the first year that I have actually had TurboTax pull in my data from the previous tax return. Pretty neat feature. All of your personal data is still there also. You are asked to confirm it is the same or you can make changes.

I'm no tax whizzo type of person, and I find it easy to use. I haven't had to pay taxes yet, and I use deductions.

Go for it!

I use a service from Tax Act.

www.taxactonline.com

It is a free service recommended by the IRS, and you can print and send your return via snail mail for free, or efile through them for $9.95.

I have used it for the last 5 years, and have had absolutely zero problems.

I do use the efile option. Refund in two weeks direct deposited.
