What is the strongest, most flexible steel?

So, is titanium the best? If so, I'm gonna re-name myself "titanium BITCH". :D (Is that word allowed?)

There's no best or worst in steels or blade materials in general. Depends on heat treatment etc. I thought you knew that, after all you've been here for more than three years...

I wanted a majority vote. ;)

~any kind of steel sharpened by ashes

It’s not uncommon for those of us with a passion for Busse blades to talk about our INFIction.

INFI in the blood is one thing, but being made out of INFI (plus Jerry’s proprietary heat treat) would be very cool.

So, Ashes, do you feel nuclear tough? If so, you might just be made of INFI.

Where's Klif Stump when you need an Ashes Infi 'Lil Red Nuclear Tuff test???

Alright, alright.......I'll volunteer to test 'er and write the review then (with full color 8 x 10 glossy pics of course :D )

What is the strongest, most flexible steel ?

Adamantium of course,...... Just ask Wolverine.... :D

BTW; I swear I'm not a comic book geek. :p

Okay, now just WHY was this moved to the "Blade Discussion Forum"? All my other posts get moved to Whine and Cheese! Someone must have just looked at the title. :p

Why, the best steels have Cobalt in them. A little Cobalt in you would make you stronger as well.

But remember, too much Cobalt in you and you may have a glow about you.

Call yourself 'Mercedes', because for making Kukhris Mercedes lorry springs are deemed to be the best. They are good quality steel, and very flexible due to the spring temper. There are number of people in the makers forum that mention Lorry spring in making 'Damascus', and thereby holds another name for you, tough and pretty ;)

Quiet Storm is right, there is no best or worst steel, the heat treat is what counts. Make ten differant knives from ten differant steels give them all a perfect heat treat and there wont be five cents worth of differance from one to another
