As the title. BTW, I want to choose one from them as my first knife, can anyone give me some suggestion on it please. Thanks!!

The blade on my Heat mikes at about .125, or 1/8 inch.

I have both the Heat and the EDC. For me, the EDC is wonderful to carry, but just a little too small to be useful (I was one of the many who for years asked for a larger version of the EDC). Everyone's hands are different, and for me the Heat is just about perfect as an every day use blade. If you wear gloves sized large or extra large, I'd definitely go with the Heat.

Thank you very much for your reply. I think I have to go for a EDC, because my hands are relative small. Now I know the thickness of HEAT is .125", now I only hope the EDC has the same thickness. Can anybody tell me the exact number? Thanks!!!

Sorry--I got to talking about the Heat and forgot to mike the EDCs until now. Both my 154CM and Talonite EDCs mike at .100 (1/10 inch).

The EDCs are great knives in their own right, and better steel in the blade than the Heat, but I'd still have to give the Heat the edge (unintentional pun) for everyday carry and use.

If you have the opportunity, handle them both and see what feels best to you in your hands.

Thanks again, for both the data and the suggestion. But i am afraid that I have no chance to hold them before the purchase, because I am in UK and it is hard to find a shop who sell them here. What a pity!

Ah--I understand. The good news is that the EDC and the Heat are both fine blades and either one should serve you well.

I called Camillus about 5 months ago asking them about the EDC and they told me that the blade thickness is .095". Hope that helps! :)
