What is this and how do I get one?

I've seen this knife a few times now and it looks like a beast of a fighter. I'd like it with a butt spike like the ST-56 (Persian Fighter).

From what i've been able to gather this was a proto knife that never made it into production but was offered at a couple of Blade shows. It also resembles 'the knife that shall not be named' or so i've read. Of that knife I know absolutely nothing.

Anyone got any info to add on it? Likely or unlikely to go into production, hated by Jerry etc

That pic is from Blade West '03. I believe it was first shown in Atlanta earlier that year. The pics I have of the 2002 show do not have the SF, TAC or F handles; instead there were the BAIII, PD, ARK & GM, as well as several E-Variants.
The SF Recurve was a proto that never made it into production........however your intel is very good. I will say no more.

I know. I really missed going back to school with you wild and crazy left coast Hogs.
I'll get the '09 show on my work calendar so I don't miss it again.
After the one proto I got after the Blade show I couldn't afford any of the others! :(

great!! i'm trying to book amy for the show too, i started a year in advance so i can get the special fliers made and security set up. she's expensive but brings in a BIG crowd

Looks like the new Air Rescue. Yeah proto from Blade West 03 I'm still waiting on the Tank Buster or PD tactical but the old stuff keeps getting brought up again and again and again!:mad:

Yeah that's the old AR. The Proto that he's asking about looks like an AR but if I remember correctly when I held it a Blade West in O3 it was an unnamed proto.
 
Looks way closer to a sfno variant, AR a lot smaller,,,,,,,,,,, but since I've never heard of or seen the blade in question .........

Check out the ASH-1 variant at the company store....

you can buy one, dim the lights, squint....and it'd be the knife you want:D
