I was browsing through Ebay (I looked Up Buck Knife), and saw this.
Looks pretty bad. Hopefully, it is fake and it will be taken down.

I think Buck had some of those made up for RMEF a few years ago.

They were legit.

However, the maker in China may have continued to make and sell them without sharing the profits with Buck, because it seems that an awful lot more have been showing up quite regularly.

Buck can't stop that, as far as I know.

Yes, but people have been copying the 110 for many years and it doesn't seem to have hurt the 110 much.

As long as they don't try to use the Buck trademark and pass it off as a real 110 they can do it.

Most people, however, have wanted to have the real thing and the real thing has stayed incredibly reasonable in price.

With the recent increased sophistication in China one has to wonder if perfect copies of some Buck knives might show up......and how would we know?

Maybe there are some "Limited Editions" out there that are in reality.......unlimited.

I had a Buck RMEF knife similar to the one pictured, but it had no gut-hook. I was told they were given to participants of a RMEF banquet. Knife would fall right out of the cordura sheath, if inverted. They were made in China. I passed mine on to my son. Never saw a gut-hook model.
As for the Woodsman knock-off, what a cheezy looking piece of crap! I just bought a new #102 this week, and it is a little beauty.
