What is this bad boy?

This is just not a knife I am at all familiar with. I bought a large lot, this was included, with the nice kydex sheath. What model number? Was this a collaboration with a custom maker? When was it discontinued and what's the average value of it (unused, with sheath, excellent overall)?

One thing that made me buy the lot was a second Buck, one I was familiar with and wanted; a Strider fixed blade. Wow. What a brute.

Thanks, guys. I was able to really research the knife once I had the model number and name. Good information in this forum but have to know what I am looking for. 'Sharpened pry bar' pretty much describes this thing.

Not the right knife blank; but I think someone posted one like yours not too long ago...I just can't find it... :rolleyes:

yes tex, here some times it is a bit different then the other factory forums... we do a lot of joking / pokeing fun at each other here some times
because we don't have the member numbers of the other forums and kinda of mostly know each other ...
i type a lot and many times here i see i was the last to say any thing

I believe the Intrepid was a Kit Carson design. It also came in a tanto shaped tip version.
