What is this Buck Military knife ?

I just traded a 890/650 build out for this knife. It is a Strider of some sort but made 2008. It has a grey bead blast finish, Buck USA only no BOS or # markings, Strider Spear point straight edge NOT serrated, G-10 Strider handles, with 890BKXSPX on the box.

I would say it is also a build out to use up the handles. They just didn't serrate or black oxide finish the blades. Those knives never had a BOS stamp. They are 420HC.

I would bet money Buck just made them saleable to get rid of what was left, (just like the 650/890) without sticking too many resources into them.

I am "guessing" that it is a 890SP. I have a 890TX.

But, as can be seen below (top knife in the pic), mine is not bead blasted.

Is there any stamping on the opposite side?

Yep. If it was a BS, dollars to doughnuts it would have a Strider stamp on the other side.
