I've looked around but I can't figure this one out. What knife is this a knock-off of? I like the clean looks of it (minus the holes), but not a Frost:grumpy:.

It does look awful familiar. It sorta favors an Al Mar SERE 2000. It also looks almost generic to several different folders. I like the looks.

Right - the SERE 2000, along with some design features from Pat Crawford. And Bill Harsey as well.

I think there were some Smith and Wessons that looked like that too.

It rmeinds me in a general way of some of the CRKT's too.

Yeah, I guess it is the SERE that it reminds me of, just with more choil, smaller guards and a different handle end, I just couldn't see it.

To me, the SERE guards almost overpower the blade. Still may get one sometime, thanks.

I have a S&W that is a dead ringer for that knife. Its a pretty fair knife for the money. I believe its the Extreme Ops model.

Ditto that. Mine has G-10 handles and I generally bead blast and re-bevel all my S&W's blades. I will usually cover the factory markings with industrial tape, then bead blast the blade finish, they come out pretty nice. I was able to take a friends and put a mirror finish on the blade but I rubbed out all factory markings.

Looking at that knife could Taylor and Frost be behind some of the same knives? Kinda yucky to think about lol but that pivot pin looks EXACTLY like the Taylor ones...

As far as I am concerned the only chinese blade that is quite great for the money is My Byrd Car Cara G-10. In an effort to dull the beast I chopped, yes chopped with a folder, 8 Tic Tac containers up. Much to my dismay, it still shaves arm hair....:D
