Rewind a month or two ago at the grocery store. My girlfriend and I are in line to check out, and I spot a pocket clip on the pants of the guy infront of us, young to middle aged guy with 2 sons, playing with them in line. Now the clip was an abnomally large wire clip, bigger than any I have seen mounted what looked to be tip down on a gold/bronze colored handle. My immediate thought was that it had to be a custom, with the weird clip and the bronzing fad at the moment. I told me girlfriend that it was cool to see some custom work out in the wild.
Fast forward to today and I cannot stop seeing this knife hanging out of pockets. After seeing the folk sporting this mystery blade I'm almost positive it's nothing special (some shadier guys carrying it). But it's the pocket clip that catches my eye every time.

Anyone have any idea what this blade might be? Is it just an exceptionally prolific gas station special from around my parts? I am in Austin, Texas.
