what is this knife i now own??

Greetings one and all I would like to start by saying hello as I am very new to this forum. My reasoning for joining is twofold one to glean what knowledge I might from others and to pass on what knowledge I might have. My first question that I am submitting to the masses what in the wide wide world of sports is this knife? It was given to me by a very dear friend of mine and being raised like I have I'm not one to turn down a gift or speak ill will is a sin. I am curious though because I am unable to find information about it on the Internet, if you have any knowledge like the cost, or if it is a rare item, or if it's even in production, me know thanks. Cause Im a new guy i cant post an image yet, the name on the box is magnum as well on the blade is POHL DESIGN. So just to keep the 400 pounders forum trolls in check i have already searched using what info i have.

And yup, it's hard to positively Id anything without picture close ups and the likes.
I dunno much about boker's arrangement with mr pohl
but it seems a mite strange that a pohl design would be found under the magnum label
Instead of boker.
Hope someone might help you better.
 
We have had an old Magnum Collection knife, it was a folder in a box, that was designed by Dietmar Pohl, but a Picture would be really helpful
 
Hey gang thanks, for the info and kind of words. I'm just back from eh bush hence the late reply. So what is the cost for a paying member, so I can post some pictures of this knife?? Its killing me not having a clue of what it is.
